New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Greendale Panthers (Greendale, WI), 60-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Berlin West upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host South Milwaukee (South Milwaukee, WI) to play the Rockets in a non-league battle on Monday, December 5. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 1-1. South Milwaukee lost 60-32 in their recent league battle against Shorewood (Shorewood, WI)

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
