Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montour can't hold off Quaker Valley

The Quaker Valley Quakers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Montour Spartans to 47 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Quakers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Quaker Valley will battle a Chargers team coming off a 59-27 non-league loss to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
