In Saturday's non-league outing, the San Antonio Christian Lions (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX), by a margin of 81-45.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Augustine (Laredo, TX). The Knights go into the TAPPS 5A District 4 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, St. Augustine was trounced by Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX), 56-38, in a non-league outing.

The Guardians now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Somerset for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. John Paul II will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.
