North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus trounces Mount Pleasant

December 2, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 81-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders go into the 3A South Piedmont test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Concord was trounced by Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 79-44, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host A.L. Brown for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Mount Pleasant will encounter a Wonders squad coming off a 77-43 non-league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Wonders record now stands at 2-1.

The Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) varsity basketball team won Saturday's home non-conference game against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) by a score of 81-42.
