The North Murray Mountaineers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders to 29 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haralson County for a AA Region 7 contest on Friday, December 8. North Murray will battle a Rebels team coming off a 51-18 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.

The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Gordon Central was defeated by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 74-39, in a league contest.
