Southeastern Panthers (Chillicothe, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southeastern upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Valley (Lucasville, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Valley lost 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH)

Next up, the Redstreaks play the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Piketon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
