The Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), 41-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record.
The Scots now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Francis for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6.
