The Carlmont Scots basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Half Moon Bay Cougars to 32 in the Scots league victory on Friday.

The Scots now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menlo-Atherton for a contest on Wednesday, February 7. Carlmont will battle a Bears team coming off a 63-20 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Bears record now stands at 18-3.

The Cougars (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (Daly City, CA). The Grizzlies come into the contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was routed by Burlingame (Burlingame, CA), 53-44, in a league contest.
