Massachusetts High School Basketball - Algonquin Regional can't hold off St. John's

The St. John's Pioneers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Algonquin Regional Titans to 50 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. St. John's will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 88-45 non-league win over St. Paul (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-0.
The Titans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, North Middlesex Regional was nudged by Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA), 74-44, in a non-league contest.
