The Algonquin Regional Titans basketball team (Northborough, MA), was nudged 57-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA)

The Pioneers now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shrewsbury for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. St. John's will confront a Colonials team coming off a 55-43 league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 4-13.

The Titans (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Marlborough (Marlborough, MA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Marlborough edged North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA), 54-41, in a league battle.
