The Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX), 75-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Littlefield (Littlefield, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Littlefield was trounced by Levelland (Levelland, TX), 69-63, in a non-league test.

The Owls now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Smyer for a 2A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 3. Hale Center will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 54-46 league win over Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-11.
