The Noble Knights basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Sanford Spartans to 54 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonny Eagle for a AA South contest on Thursday, December 22. Noble will meet a Scots team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Scots record now stands at 2-2.

The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Mustangs enter the AA South contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Massabesic was routed by Gorham (Gorham, ME), 74-29, in a league contest.
