The Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team (Washington, CT), dropped 67-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT)

The Highlanders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Litchfield for a Berkshire battle on Friday, December 23. Northwestern Regional will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 89-41 non-league win over Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-1.

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos come into the Berkshire battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Terryville dropped by Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT), 77-31, in a non-league battle.
