Kansas High School Basketball - Salina Central knocked off by Andover Central

December 20, 2022: Andover, KS 67002

The Andover Central Jaguars basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Salina Central Mustangs to 30 in the Jaguars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maize for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Andover Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to South (Salina, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eisenhower (Goddard, KS). The Tigers enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Eisenhower ran past Newton (Newton, KS), 50-16, in a non-league contest.
