Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Andover Central Jaguars (Andover, KS) and the host Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS), saw Andover Central's basketball squad knock off Salina Central by a tally of 52-39.
With the victory, Andover Central improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Maize South (Wichita, KS) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Maize South won 45-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Newton (Newton, KS)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II challenge, on Friday, February 10. Salina Central will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS).
