Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI), 56-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Ashland upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Oredockers travel to Barron (Barron, WI) to play the Golden Bears in a Heart O'North bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Rails play the Webster Tigers (Webster, WI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Spooner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 47-30 league loss to Unity (Balsam Lake, WI).
