The Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Pelion Panthers to 36 in the Fighting Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Fighting Hawks now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pelion for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Blackville-Hilda will battle a Panthers team coming off a 52-37 non-league win over Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Williston-Elko was nudged by North (North, SC), 39-26, in a league contest.
