South Carolina High School Basketball - Blackville-Hilda can't hold off Pelion

The Pelion Panthers basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks to 32 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swansea for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Pelion will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
The Fighting Hawks (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC). The Saints enter the A Region 4 contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Calhoun County was nudged by High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 73-13, in a non-league contest.
