The West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 43-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Maroon Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Nutley thwarted Livingston (Livingston, NJ), 21-14, in a non-league test.
The Bengals now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Lee for a non-league test on Thursday, December 22. Bloomfield will encounter a Bridgemen squad coming off a 42-16 non-league win over Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Bridgemen record now stands at 1-2.
