Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 86-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Defiance upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Flying Flucos come into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Bison play the Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 60-29 non-league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
