Texas High School Basketball - Randolph thwarts Nixon-Smiley

The Randolph Ro-Hawks (Universal City, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (Nixon, TX), 57-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Ro-Hawks (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Southwest went down by Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX), 29-26, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Karnes City for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Nixon-Smiley will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 40-31 non-league win over Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 5-12.
