The Sinton Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Rockport-Fulton Pirates to 38 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Paul II for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 27. Sinton will face a Centurions team coming off a 52-39 non-league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Centurions record now stands at 5-14.

With the defeat, Rockport-Fulton moves to 1-10 on the year. The Pirates travel to Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 28. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 16-6. Calallen won 60-23 in their recent league match against Harmony School of Excellence (Laredo, TX)
