With the win, Eastern Wayne upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. East Duplin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 76-28 non-league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC).
