In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Credo Gryphon (Rohnert Park, CA), by a count of 29-26.

The Prospectors (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA). The Lobos go into the North Bay - Redwood outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Elsie Allen held off Potter Valley (Potter Valley, CA), 52-13, in a non-league outing.

The Gryphon now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sonoma Academy for a North Central II outing on Tuesday, January 9.
