The Piner Prospectors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Credo Gryphon to 26 in the Prospectors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Prospectors now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Vincent de Paul for a North Bay - Redwood contest on Tuesday, December 12. Piner will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 37-28 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.

The Gryphon (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Lindo Adventist (Healdsburg, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Rio Lindo Adventist triumphed over Tomales (Tomales, CA), 34-19, in a non-league contest.
