The GlenOak Golden Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Hoover Vikings to 26 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a Federal contest on Friday, December 22. GlenOak will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 47-40 league win over Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 5-1.

The Vikings (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Blue Streaks enter the Federal contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Lake ran past Green (Uniontown, OH), 59-48, in a league contest.
