Texas High School Basketball - Grand Prairie holds off Bowie

The Grand Prairie Gophers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Bowie Volunteers to 61 in the Gophers league triumph on Friday.
The Gophers now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Prestonwood Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Grand Prairie will confront a Lions team coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Bowie falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 13-7.
