The Chartiers Valley Colts defeated the host Moon Area Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 60-44 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Colts clash with the Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 27. Chartiers Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Lions come into the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, South Fayette overcame Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA), 71-61, in a league outing.
