The De Smet Jesuit Spartans basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Christian Brothers Cadets to 54 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Moline for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Christian Brothers falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cadets host Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Colts go into the game with a record of 1-5. Parkway Central lost 67-45 in their recent league game against Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO)
