The De Smet Jesuit Spartans basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Christian Brothers Cadets to 67 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 20-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis University for a Metro Catholic game on Tuesday, February 11. De Smet Jesuit will clash with a Junior Bills squad coming off a 57-38 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Junior Bills record now stands at 3-3.

The Cadets (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders come into the non-league outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, St. Dominic was defeated by St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO), 62-52, in a league outing.
