Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming holds off Heritage

The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Heritage Pioneers to 39 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host West Potomac for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Fleming will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 44-42 league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Heritage falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 0-4. James Monroe lost 60-43 in their recent league game against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA)
