The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Loraine Bulldogs to 34 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pantego Christian for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Highland will confront a Panthers team coming off a 67-59 non-league loss to Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Loraine falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Roby (Roby, TX) to confront the Lions in a 1A Region II District 14 game on Friday, January 3. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-6.
