In Friday's league contest, the visiting Towns County Indians basketball team scored a close 55-53 triumph over the Lincoln County Red Devils.
The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hayesville was tipped by Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 70-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) in a A D2 Region 8 contest, on Saturday, December 21. Lincoln County will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 59-50 league loss to Greene County (Greensboro, GA).
