The Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), 72-63 in Saturday's league bout.

The Indians now possess a 13-11 record. They play next when they host Washington-Wilkes for a A D2 Region 8 bout on Friday, February 7. Towns County will play a Tigers team coming off a 60-45 league loss to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Lincoln County falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Red devils host Harlem (Harlem, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Harlem lost 41-40 in their recent league bout against Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA)
