In Friday's non-league test, the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), by a score of 63-43.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. North Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Buckin' Elks come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 75-61 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
