Alabama High School Basketball - Tuscaloosa Academy holds off Northside

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Tuscaloosa Academy Knights basketball team scored a close 50-47 triumph over the Northside Rams.

The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Academy (Duluth, GA). The Irish Wolfhounds go into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Academy was tipped by Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA), 66-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Northside will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 51-24 non-league win over Gordo (Gordo, AL).
