The Paint Branch Panthers basketball squad (Burtonsville, MD), was nudged 74-72 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD)

With the victory, Springbrook advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Thomas Stone lost 63-58 in their recent league battle against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)

The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flowers for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. Paint Branch will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 74-61 league win over Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-1.
