The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) and the visiting Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX), observed Windthorst's basketball team overwhelm Petrolia by a margin of 56-35.

The Trojans (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Aspermont (Aspermont, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Aspermont was trounced by Valley (Turkey, TX), 51-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Petrolia will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 58-56 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX).
