Kansas High School Basketball - Burlington knocks off Wellsville

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Burlington Wildcats basketball team scored a good 40-20 win over the Wellsville Eagles.
The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS). The Chargers come into the Pioneer contest with a 4-2 record.
With the loss, Wellsville falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Prairie View (La Cygne, KS) to play the Buffalos in a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Buffalos go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Prairie View won 49-35 in their recent league bout against Iola (Iola, KS)
