Kansas High School Basketball - Wellsville holds off Burlington

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Wellsville Eagles basketball team scored a close 35-32 triumph over the Burlington Wildcats.
The Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Baldwin (Baldwin, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Baldwin nipped Paola (Paola, KS), 62-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) in a Pioneer contest, on Friday, February 14. Burlington will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Buffalos go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 45-44 league win over Iola (Iola, KS).
