North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus holds off Cox Mill

The West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Cox Mill Chargers to 53 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman Charter for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. West Cabarrus will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-53 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Cox Mill falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-5. Ardrey Kell won 57-15 in their recent league game against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC)
