The Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks bounced the host Golden Plains Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 51-18 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Thunderhawks face the Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 6-0 record after their 48-34 league win over Dighton (Dighton, KS).
