South Carolina High School Basketball - Laney overwhelms Midland Valley

The Laney Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Midland Valley Mustangs to 20 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Aiken for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Laney will confront a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 29-23 league loss to Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Midland Valley falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Laney (Augusta, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 6-5. Laney lost 31-30 in their recent non-league game against South Aiken (Aiken, SC)
