North Carolina High School Basketball - Newton-Conover triumphant over Lincolnton

December 20, 2024: Newton, NC 28658

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) and the visiting Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), observed Newton-Conover's basketball team overwhelm Lincolnton by a score of 68-39.

The Red Devils (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Bunker Hill trounced West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 46-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves battle the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Lincolnton will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 43-29 non-league win over East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
