Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA) and the host Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA), saw Thacher's basketball squad hold off Foothill Tech by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, Thacher advances its record to 5-7 on the season. The Toads travel to Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA) to encounter the Saints in a Tri-Valley test on Wednesday, January 11. The Saints go into the test with a record of 4-8.

The Dragons now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Beacon Hill for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28.
