The Lake Blue Streaks basketball team (Uniontown, OH), was nudged 63-60 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH)
The Vikings now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buchtel for a non-league battle on Friday, December 23. Hoover will battle a Griffins team coming off a 55-8 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Griffins record now stands at 0-7.
The Blue Streaks (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Washington (Massillon, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Washington edged North (Akron, OH), 61-3, in a non-league battle.
