West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the win, West Morris Mendham upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Minutemen host Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to clash with the Marauders in a Northwest Jersey - National bout on Friday, December 23. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Mount Olive lost 48-20 in their recent non-league bout against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ)

Next up, the Gaels clash with the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Thursday, December 22. Roxbury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 57-33 league loss to Montville (Montville, NJ).
