In Wednesday's league challenge, the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME), by a margin of 3-2.
The Witches now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houlton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28.
The Coyotes (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Broncos enter the Class B North challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hampden was edged by Messalonskee (Oakland, ME), 7-4, in a league challenge.
