In Thursday's non-league outing, the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), by a margin of 86-50.

The Grizzlies (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Belle, WV). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Riverside was trounced by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 55-48, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Nicholas County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9.
