The George County Rebels basketball team (Lucedale, MS), was toppled 60-45 in Thursday's league battle with the host West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS)
The Hurricanes now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gautier for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. West Harrison will confront a Gators team coming off a 65-32 non-league loss to St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Gators record now stands at 6-6.
The Rebels (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Maroon Tide come into the 6A Region 4 battle with a 12-3 record.
